Rejoice and be merry is a setting of a traditional English Christmas carol for upper voices and organ. It is in a jazz-funk style, with a straightforward, fun and catchy melody. The piece is mostly in unison, with a number of passages in two parts for upper and lower voices. It was commissioned by the Choir of Woldingham School. They gave the first performance on 4th December 2023 at Westminster Cathedral, conducted by Peter Sparks.
