A jazz-inspired piano work based on Elgar's 'Land of Hope and Glory', a melody from his Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1. This piece treats the tune in a happy swing style, and was inspired by a walk through London's Hyde Park before the 'Last Night of the Proms'. The title alludes to Stephen Sondheim's musical 'Sunday in the Park with George'.
