Arranged for chamber orchestra
Felix Mendelssohn (1809-1847) was one of the most well-known German composers in the early Romantic period. He composed his Hebrides Overture in 1830, as a direct response to a visit to Staffa Island in Scotland, with its remarkable sea cave known as Fingal's Cave. The piece is an impression of the location, without a specific programme. This arrangement is for chamber orchestra.
Instrumentation: flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn, trumpet, timpani, violin 1, violin 2, viola, violoncello, double bass (strings must be a minimum of 3, 3, 2, 2, 1)
Includes full score and complete set of parts
