This arrangement by Iain Farrington for chamber ensemble retains much of the orchestration and beauty of the original for only 12 players. It includes the important and evocative horn and bassoon parts, lacking in other chamber versions. Piano or harp may be used, parts are provided for either instrument.
Scored for flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn, piano or harp, percussion (crotales), violin 1, violin 2, viola, cello, double bass (12 players). A larger string section can be used.
